Redefining the spaces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rethinking spaces to make the most of them and maximize elements like exposure to light is a process that radically transforms the results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Casa Giulia project, we assessed the client\u2019s needs and preferences. Thanks to the work of our team and architect Enrico Leghissa, we modified the floor plan to create two bathrooms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the house features a living area with a terrace and two double bedrooms, one of which has a balcony with an open view of the Trieste Karst.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Living Area<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the apartment had an entrance hall, a living room, and a small kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to create a single large and bright living area by demolishing all the partition walls. The linear SME kitchen, chosen by the client, has a wall painted with a light gray water-based enamel to define the spaces. The Poltrone e Sof\u00e0<\/a> couch is placed next to the terrace’s French door. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The living area and the sleeping area are connected by a sliding glass door, allowing light to flow between the two spaces.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The bathrooms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although the apartment is only 70 square meters, we managed to create two complete bathrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first bathroom, which has a window, we have a walk-in shower with a single glass panel. The second bathroom features a laundry corner with a column made up of a washing machine and dryer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In both bathrooms, we laid cement-effect tiles.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Construction details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the entire apartment, we replaced the doors with new solid wood ones in white with grain patterns. The bathroom doors are sliding to save space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replaced the windows and shutters throughout the apartment, respecting the framing and the junction details of the facades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The central heating system remained unchanged; however, we replaced all the radiators with new Irsap Tesi<\/a> models, updated the electrical system by selecting new light fixtures, outlets, and switches, and installed the air conditioning system in several locations throughout the house.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
